４月に入り、庭のシンボルツリーの芽吹きが気になる頃。
It is April now, when the symbol tree in the hotel garden starts to bloom.

よく見ると、枝には赤い葉が。
ぱっと見、ちょっと枯れたようにも見えますね。
If you look to it there are some red leaves on the branches that looks like withered.

さらに近づくとなぜか紅葉しているように見えますが・・・
実はここから新緑が栄えてくるのだそうです。
But if you come closer, you can see that the leaves are colored...
In fact, its all fresh green leaves.

この朝は造園屋さんが樹々の健康診断と栄養剤を。
シンボルツリーよ元気になあれ！！
This morning a landscape shop provided a health checkup for our tree. Stay healthy!

健康診断を終えた造園屋さんから「シンボルツリーも
根を張りはじめましたよ～」と嬉しい一言！
The landscape shop staff said that our symbol tree roots are getting bigger than last year! It has a really good meaning!

オープンして1年目、2年目・・・水やり、栄養剤など
こまめにケアし、見守ってきました。
「石の上にも3年」と昔から言われますが、
人も植物も、3年目からなんですねえ。
今年は昨年より逞しく、葉が茂ることを楽しみに
したいと思います。
Since we opened 2 years ago, I'm nutring and watering the plants. But plants are like people, we should not give up on it at least for 3 years in order to see it growing healthy as Japanese popular saying says. I'm looking forwart to it!
