We were surprised, and in fact, humbled, but the other day (8/8/2023), the award winners were announced in British Luxlife magazine. There are many hotels that are better than ours, so I think it's more about the scenery of Unzen Jigokudani that made it seem unique to foreigners than it is about the hotel itself. I would be happy if this could be an opportunity for people in Europe and the world to learn about the place called Unzen.
